Homecoming Explodes at S.G. Abundant excitement was dis- played as students participated in the Homecoming activities. In spite of the setting off of the bonfire early, the Key Club and other stu- dents rebuilt it in a record time of four hours. The bonfire was an extreme success. During the half- time of the victorious game against R. L. Turner, Sheryl Barnes was named Homecoming Queen. A Friday at South Garland was composed of varied and numerous activities. The Pep Rally started off the enthusiasm before the games as everyone participated in the excite- ment. After the suspension filled games, students retreated to the S. G. Ballroom for the victory dance. sal xt
