Everyone Gets Involve South Garland has a unique qual- ity in the spirit exhibited. This was the year we tied it all together. The seniors led the stands in spirit, while the band, drill team, and foot- ball teams were the leaders on the field. Everyone was confident that we would have a successful and exciting season. Activities Accompany Beginning School began early for some as the drill teams, football teams and band, faithfully practiced in order to make 1972-73 the best year ever. Sophomore orientation helped prepare our new students for their first year at big S. C. Labor Day broke the tension of the first week of school.
