Hisfofjfx Studies Are Relevant to Present Frank Bridwell Gary Chapman Norman Goheen Relating the past to the present and the future, the study of history attempts to make students aware of the events ofthe world. Simulated games add to student involvement. The stu- dents research a situation in history or government and simulate their own reactions in this situation. Mock-elections increase the relevance of a study of government, and debates help students draw their own conclusions concerning major issues.
