Marie wit, A spirit of school pride mixed with a :nse of caring . . . this is what it meant to e a junior of 71. We became involved 'ith life and those who share this world 'ith us. We yelled and screamed and knew the ride of being number one. We sold straw ats, made up pep rally skits, collected for rummage sale, and planned a junior rom. We were truly Colonels. But our pride did not keep us from ooping to help someone else. We held a hristmas Party for the people at Silver eaves and spent a day at the zoo with mme children. We became involved with eople. This was the year we learned more about ving and wrote about it in our philoso- hies of life. We are a Part of South Gar- nd and it has become a part of us. 209
