Cheerleaders are elected for 53 54 The following girls were elected cheerleaders for the 53 54 season Myra Moss Kay Bowen Dianne Palmer Amelia Cobb and Carol lee Peeples The elecnon was with the whole school parncipanng in it They also have new outfits this year designing them themselves They are made from wool with white satin lining with white letter sweaters to wear with them band leadmg it The queen was crowned by the captain Billy Joe Hawks and the flowers were given to her by the other captain Joe Strange It was a grand occasion and everyone enjoyed it Seniors select Rings For once a semor class agreed completely on the selecuons of nngs They chose an oval shaped pave' Queen and Attendants chosen for Homecoming Myra Moss was chosen Home coming Queen by the Red Devil squad with Carol Peeples and Wanda Sephens as attendants. There was a big parade that started from the South Fulton school and going all the way to the ball park with the Staff nng with a ruby set topped with a Red Devil crest SFHS instead of the standard emblem They have the graduating date on each side of them and the initials on the inside of them. While selecting the rings they also selected their invitations. They are due to arrive aroimd Thanksgiving and the Seniors all agree that they have picked the best of everything.
