A Japanese teahouse sur, rounded by swinging pastel lanterns transformed the cafeteria into an Oriental garden tor the annual Junior Prom-biggest event ot the year. innumerable hours by industrious iuniors produced Sakura No Koi, or Cherry Blossom Love, to enhance the evening ot April 30 with a tar east atmosphere. Under the guidance ot ad- visers Mrs. Sevilla Berreman and Edgar Goodnough, the iuniors were involved in almost every activity at South, From standing com- mittees to rally squads, iuniors contributed time and talents to the smooth running year. The class sponsored a rally dance, entered a tloat in the Homecoming parade, worked on the all-school Charity Drive, and were in, volved in all sports activities. ln December, the iunior girls vvon the prize tor the best doll display at the annual Doernbecher Tea. Winding up a successful year, iuniors served at the senior breakfast and ushered at commencement. JUNIOR CLASS OFFICERS: Janet Heise, secretary-treasurer, Jerry Keete, left, vice-president, and Doug McCallum, president.
