Jacobsen, Larry Baxter. ROW 2, Dick Ruhl- man, Bruce Pederson, Ray McKenize, Erland Erick- son, Dave Mattoon, Dave Dau, Dave Hazlitt, Pete Gordineer, Bill Tevepaugh, Ken Bittleston, Julius Bolles, Jerry Huddleston. ROW 3, Jeff Huntley, Bill The governing body of the Axemenis Council is com- posed of boys from all three classes chosen by their classmates. There is also a cabinet composed of the President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Spe- cial Events Chairman, Program Chairman, and Special Weeks Chairman. Headed by President Dan O,Connell, the Axemen's Council has sponsored many fine events. They started off the year by originating and directing Hello Gusky, Jack Jackson, Jerry Deler, Skip Siegrist, Jack Pratt, Dave Fluke, John Nosler, Mark Mc- Culloch, Fred Von Appen, Gary Dingman, Jack Alexander, Jim Robertson. ROW 4, Bob Ferguson, Don Johnson, Chuck Flynn, Tom Myers, John Carley, Bob Beckley, Bowen Blair, John Read, Mike Smith, Dennis Marsh, Lonnie Bunce, Robert Mills, Darryl Winn, Jim Vos. Weekn activities. One of the high points of the year was the Father and Son Banquet at which the enter- tainment was furnished by the Dads. This is an annual event which has enjoyed tremendous success. A dance was also sponsored by the Axemen's Council, the proceeds going toward the purchase of a whirl- pooli' bath for the Athletic Department. Another one of the annual projects is the raising of money for a scholarship which is to be given to an outstand- ing Senior boy at the end of the year.
