RECOGNITION AND PUBLICITY COMMITTEE The purpose of the Recog- nition and Publicity Com- mittee is to keep the students and school patrons informed on information concerning South Eugene High School activities and events. Mem- bers prepare news releases of the activities and submits them to all communication media in this area while others work on promotion ideas for Student Body ac- t1v1t1es. ASSEMBLY COMMITTEE The Assembly Committee has the job of planning the assemblies for the Student Body. During the course of the year, this committee selects and plans the type of assemblies. 'E7 ROW I - Ann Husk, Marilyn Pike, Rae Marie Perkey, Diane Bressler, Gretchen Koenig, Peggy Fuller. ROW 2 - Kay Brown, Bob Kudrle, Jim Orrell, Larry Hi- rons, Sue Horn. ACTIVITIES COMMITTEE The Activities Committee, the smallest of the committees, is one of the most important. lt determines what students are eligible to hold school offices by checking their records. ROW I - Miss McDermott, Trudy Judd, Brauna Rubenstein. ROW 2 - Rob Mills, Tom Ness, Miss Miller. SOCIAL COMMITTEE The Social Committee assists and advises clubs and organizations on dances, potlucks and other social functions.
