The two treasurers of our school are Caroline Barney and Carol Parkinson. The two Carols share the job of keeping accurate records of all receipts and pay- ments for all Student Body organizations and clubs. CAROLINE BARNEY CAROL PARKINSON The Student Body scrapbook is in the capable hands of Ann Christenson. She clips pictures and articles out of various newspapers and compiles them into an attractive book that records all the hap- penings and events of South Eugene High School during the year. The boy responsible for our Pep Assem- blies and other similar events is Steve Hintz. Plus this demanding job, Steve ii? p also finds time to win a few debates. ANN CH RISTENSON PETE GEERTSEN NEIL WALKER STEVE HINTZ Our two auditors, Pete Geertsen and Neil Walker, share the financial responsibility of our school. Pete writes the checks for all the school bills while Neil counts and makes receipts for all the money from Student Body activities.

Although this oiiice kept him busy, he still found time to participate in basketball and baseball. The position of Student Body Secretary was capably filled by Joy Rubenstein. In addition to this oflice, she has many school and outside activities, one of which includes Governor of Girls, State. ROW 3 - Unidentified, Diane Bressler, Cheryl Schleicher, un- At the beginning of the school year, each home room elects a representative to Student Council, the principal governmental agency of the school. These representatives work with the administration and the student body ofhcers in working out prob- lems that affect the students and the school. Each year the Council selects one or more projects for the improvement of the school. This year the council's projects are improving the sound system in the auditorium, building tennis courts, and im- proving the Student Body courtyards. 22
