ADMINISTRATION Dean Mickelwait Cecil Warner At the head of the administration staff is our well-liked principal, Mr. Mickelwait. He has countless duties which include the honor of attending National Educational Conferences where he learns new curriculum to make South Eugene High a better place to learn. Mr. Warner, better known as Cece, is the Vice-Principal of South Eugene High. Attendance and discipline problems are handled effectively by him. In his second year as Vice-Principal at South Eugene, Mr. Warner is continuing to do a fine job. Miss Kitts, Dean of Girls, is a friend and advisor to every girl in South Eugene High. Scholarships and pre-college programs for the seniors are handled by her. Miss Kitts' influence will be remembered by the senior girls for years to come. N ina Kitts Students and teachers alike appreciate the fine job that Mr. Potter accomplishes in the position as Dean of Boys. He also has many other duties which include Axemanis Council advisor and many hours of diligent work with senior boys on college entrance and counseling. The senior member acts as chairman and is assisted by a vice chairman and a clerk. It is the Board's responsi- bility to determine the policy of the Eugene Public Schools and to establish the pro- cedure and the financial means for carrying out their policy.
