lIlASS lll i953 Class Motto . . . Be wise to resolve and patient to perform Class Colors . . . Bright watermelon and fuschia Class Flower . Ester Reed daisy At last, after three interest- ing years at Eugene High, the class of '58 is ready to move on to college careers and other forms of higher life. These seniors will cherish this year in memories for the rest of their lives. The Class of '58 stood as leaders in athletics, activities and academics. The football and basketball teams, lead by the seniors, came so close to state glory only to have their hopes killed by Springfield. The senior class president, Greg Willener, received all- American mention. Tradition- ally the seniors are prominent in activities. Providing the backbone, the seniors made many activities great suc- cesses. Academically, the Class of '58 ranked high, with four seniors gaining National Merit Test Finals.
