With wonderful coaching by Duane Mellem, the team should have one ot its best years, Three two-year lettermen and many one-year lettermen are returning, and should make up the bulwark of the team. The three two-year lettermen are John Polhemus, Charlie Warren and Captain Tom Jones. No' games have been played at the time of this writing, but by looking at the team during practice, one can tell that it is going to be a good year, lt is hoped that the team will take state this year I X64 The major spring sport Baseball ls the team anxious to play or to have their picture taken for the anr is 5 12 X, , kv

Students find many things to occupy their time hesides classworli. lluring the week-any week-there are a great many cluh meetings which are all attended hy interested members. With such a large numher of cluhs, there is certainly an opportunity for every student to ioin one which interests him. Whether it he l.l.h., Nl.M.Nl. or GM., you'll find enthusiastic supporters who will tell you M is the hest eluh. lhere are also other activities such as instrumental and vocal music in which many people are interested. lhey serve not only to entertain the student hody and other groups from time -to time, hut to also provide their participants with a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment with the knowledge that they are talring part in something which they like, and which is also worthwhile.
