Mrs. Mary Patterson -- the commercial teacher looks forward to the end of each day after tiring hours of timed writings in typing and practice, practice, practice in shorthand. The scene in the bookkeep¬ ing class is journals, rulers and adding machines. As a junior, Ronald finds the typewriter a great help. Commercial Department Bookkeeping Shorthand Typing Though shorthand is not always THIS funny to Karen, it is a challenge. Typing is a challenge for first and second year students, especially timed writings and manuscript forms.
