Mere We jStudy — lAJork --- Sandra Sumerlin made a sketch of the building to be used by Mr. Forrest on the cover of the Teachers Manual of 1957-58. Life for the freshman boys could have been complex on the first days of school. But Durwood Alien came to their rescue by guiding them to classes. Here they were on their way to the agriculture and shop building. a u -And PL Students quickly learned to make their way at activity period to the gym where the student store made pepsi colas, nabs, etc., available.

Starting, the Ifjew ear The steps at the left wing of the building are always a favorite meeting place for the students. Sandra Bridgers, Bobbie Taylor, Hartwell Fuller, and James Williams greet each other after three long months of the summer vacation. Mr. Clary came back to visit us on our first day of school. In our opening assembly, he introduced to us our new principal, Mr. Ola H. Forrest. The elections committee consisting of Mr. Baker, Wayne Forbes, and Kaye Hathaway work out plans for the first election of the year — secretary of Student Council. After long years of patiently (?) waiting, the seniors are thrilled to reach the front seats of the auditorium.
