FRIENDS WHO HELP US ' im Mr. E. D. John- son, superinten- dent of Edgecombe County Schools, discusses a school problem with his secretary, Mrs. Bogey. The P.T.A. officers discuss their records. They are President, Mrs. T. D. Williams; Vice-president, Mrs. Walter Webb, Jr.; Secretary, Mrs. J. L. Jones; Treasurer, James T. Abrams. The school board, an important part of our administration, looks with pride at the diploma and Bible given to each graduate. The churches of the three communities contribute the Bible to each member of the graduating class. They are W. L. Dunn, Jr.; K. B. Edwards; J. H. Little (chairman) ; J. E. Eagles; and N. F. Lovelace. The P.T.A. meets the standards of the North Carolina Association of Parents and Teachers and actively supports the program of the school.
