Affer a few years, enrollmenf in Greels decreased, and if was dropped from fhe curriculum. French, German, and Spanish classes began abouf fhe sarne firne and have confinued in alfernafing waves of popularify. ln fhe lasf war Spanish classes boomed while German dropped sharply. French was offered inferrniffenfly. Polish came info fhe deparfmenf wifh fhe advenf of Mr. Lernanowicz and Mr. Saslcowslci. ln accordance wifh our good-neighbor policy, Spanish classes have doubled in fhe lasf fwo years. The reason for This, according fo lvlr. Charly, head of fhe deparfrnenf, is fhe urge fo undersfand our exofic Lafin-American neighbors.
