1986 MUSICALE AND ART On the night of May 9, South Decatur's talented students displayed their talents in music and in art. The annual Art Show demonstrated various examples of projects accomplished during the school year. After the Art Show, the South Decatur music department presented the Musi- cale. The Concert Choir and the Cougar Crew Swing Choir sang pop tunes such as Say You, Say Me and Careless Whisper with soloists Darla Greer and Gladys Hockersmith. The Maroon Guard Band played a variety of selections including Steam Heat and Ghostbus- ters with the addition of the talented Cougarettes. SHOW 20 Musicale Art Show

1986 JUNIOR-SENIOR PROM COOPER AND MOBLEY CROWNED QUEEN AND KING The Otter Creek Golf Course was this year's setting for the Junior- Senior Prom held May 3 with the theme Best of Times. The Juniors chose the colors midnight blue and silver and the band The Edge for the evening's entertainment. Melinda Cooper was crowned Prom Queen with her King Chris Mobley. After the prom, there was an Hawai- ian Luau at the school sponsored by the junior parents. A big congratula- tions goes to Mrs. Reynolds, the junior sponsors, and the Prom Steering Committee for a beautiful evening.
