SENIORS WIN FUNFEST The Student Council Spirit Com- mittee sponsored a Funfest again this year. Many of the events were the same as last year, such as a tug-of-war, obstacle race, and Volkswagon push. Funfest '84 also included some new events to test the skills of each class’ competi- tion representative. The senior class took the honor of winning the 1984 Funfest for the day, even though the junior class won the Spirit Year” contest. 1. Annette, what are you sittin in? 2. Don't act so shocked guys! PROM PROVES PERFECT Otter Creek Golf Course was the setting for the 1984 Junior-Senior Prom funded by the junior class. Juniors chose “You Mean More to Me” as the theme with decorations being done in pink. Entertainment for the evening was provided by The Guys. Vernita Atchley was chosen Prom Queen and her king was Danny Richards. This year the juniors chose Melissa Harrison and Tim Hughes as their Prom Prince and Prin- cess. Both the Prom and Afterprom were outstanding and many thanks is owed the Prom Steering Committee and the junior parents. 1. Senior court: Maria Studler, Kathy Elliott, Vernita Atchley, and Julie Oliphant. 2. Senior King candidates: Darren Evans and Danny Richards. 3.
