DRILL AND CR UCEBLE The Drill and Crucible Club is the oldest organization on campus and it is a junior chapterofithe American Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum Engineers. Activi- ties of the club this year have included Completion and filing of the assessment work on our talc glaim near Nemo. The club also entered afloat in the M-Day parade. The club' is financed through the sales of pop and confectionery in the Drill and Crucible loungeL We are also active in rock and mineral sales to mineral dealers throughout the United States. A mine car has been placed on display in front of the Mineral 'Industries building as a sym- bol of Mineral Industries. 1 , we., .L g SKI CLUB The present Tech Ski Club wasorganized in 1969. The purpose of the club isto 'improve the skiing ability of its members and to provide entertainvrnent through skiing. Nleimbership is open to all Tech' .students and faculty members. This year the club held skiing competition with the B.H.'Weavers. Their money collected from dues went- toward a few good parties which rare ,held annually' at Terry Peak.,A few members also went to Steamboat Springs for a few fun-filled days.
