Y 7 l.- Newman Club The Newman Club, an organization of Catholic students on campus, met every Sunday night at Surbeck Center for Folk Mass. The purpose of the club is to promote Christian fellowship among the students. The Newman Club sponsors a number of meals throughout the year and the club sang Christmas carols at the local hospitals. A special project of the club this year was to sponsor a needy family. The club provided financial help and various needs of the family. A retreat was held at the beginning of 2nd semester. All funds for the club are raised through personal donations. The club is in the process of setting up a fund for a Newman Center to be built in the future. The officers of the club this year are Leo Van Sambeek, Father Welsh, Anne Wolff, and Tom Grode.
