Second row: Ice Kellar, David Metzer, Bruce Sabacky, Steve Eggum, Darius DeNeiv, Dave Zwetzig. Led by freshman Monte Evans, the 1969 Hardrocker cross country team took the South Dakota Intercollegiate Conference title. Finishes of first, second, and fourth, by Evans, Bruce Sabacky, and lim Good- man, respectively, gave Tech an eight point margin over second place Southern. The Tech runners displayed their form again in an impressive second place show in the National A.A.U. meet.
