The Tech student photography department has a V staff of five to ten students. Their responsibility, a thankless one, is to record photographically all minor and major campus events for posterity, i.e. the Tech, student newspaper and the Engineer, yearbook. M-Day is always the peak picture period. This last year, the staff of five accumulated over 1200 pic- tures. When deadlines for the Tech and the Engineer are due, the little 6x8 darkroom is always crammed. The staff is anxiously waiting for the addition on Surbeck Center which will provide a more spacious working area.
