The Rebel Marching Band Spaghetti suppers, car washes, Christmas tree sales and soda-pop bottle collections-these are all part of South Dade's band. Of course, between all these money-making projects which finance a trip to Washington D.C. for the Cherry Blossom Festival, the band finds time to give exciting pre-game and half-time shows at each football game, play for concerts, rate a superior at Contest and march in the Pro-Bowl Game. Band members put in much time under the dedicated direction of Mr. Fetterman and many Thursday evenings are spent marching under the leadership of Mary Hickson, drum majorette. The Band and Majorettes display their talents during half-time.
