Without A Hurt the Heart is Hollow The stage became alive vvith energetic song and dance as the National Thespian Chapter of South Dade High School presented the award-winning International musical, The Fantasticks. Under the joint direction of lVlr. Alan Fetterman and lVlr. David Kross, an unusally small cast of eight people recreated the longest running off-Broadway musical. The role of the Narrator was played by Bill Pratt, Sheldon Lee and Bob Lynn played the fathers of David Magee and Susan Thompson. Libby Cool created the role of the Wall, as Jim Bernecker and Bob Thomas completed the cast as two hilarious actors. Long rehearsal hours, set construction, make-up, costumes and music rehearsals added to the tremendous number of accumulated hours of dedicated preparation for the finest production in South Dade's history. lVl0I'Tim9f, die fOr the man.
