WHO REBEL5 Crowd displays colorful spirit. 126 A panorama of color, people, excitement, and spirit moved to the traditional battleground. Spreading through the stands was a contagious air of suspense. Each Rebel knew that THAT morning seven years of disappointment would come to an end. Confident Palmetto fans seemed to lose all spirit and all hopes of winning as our boys gained more and more yardage. What a Day! That wonderful, sunny, hot day when crowd, coaches, and team joined together to create the greatest event of the year. Balloons filled the air to announce our victory 21 to 7 over the Panthers.
