l DAY ,, ' o - South Charleston High School celebrated its second annual Appalachian Day festivities under the direction of the Home Economics, Sociology, and General English classes on Octolner 24, 1975. ln addition to studying past cultures, the students actually quilted, square danced, and made applebutter, lye soap, ice cream and medicinal antidotes. The proceeds from the SCI-IS fair went towards sending a group of 39 students and chaperones to Milwaukee's Bicentennial Fair, 1 ia. I
