Mr. Clindaniel, sponsor, Roger Shei, Ned Loomis, Ray Scarborough, Mike Wright, Dale Schweizer, Ron Baum, Greg Decker, Wayne Werner, George I.C.T. Many students were enrolled in the I. C. T. program this year. They worked in various occupa- tions such as mechanic, meat cutter, agriculture, beautician, construction, waitress, secretary, nurses' aide, cashier and sales clerk. An I. C. T. banquet was held at the Holiday Inn in LaPorte, Each student in- vited his or her employer. Ruth Huhnke and Jeff Be- chinski were selected as Outstanding I. C. T. stu- dents.

25m The National Honor Society sponsored the Bicentennial Dance with Roger Rosen- feld and Candy Culver being crowned King and Queen. They also sold ice cream dur- ing the lunch hours to raise money for a scholarship. In the spring, sixteen new members were inducted into the N. H. S. Chess Club Check mate! This was the first year that South Central had 21 Chess Club. It was under the direction of Mr. Mark Potzrebow- ski. They Challenged Chess teams from M. C. Elston, New Prairie, La- Lumiere, LaCrosse and LaPorte and ended their season with a 3-7 record.
