The King and I,” an excellent musical The King declares no one's head shall be higher than he's. Mrs. Rosenbaum assists Bruce with his phenang. The King and I , under the direc- tion of Mrs. Normalee Rosenbaum and Mrs. Ruth Grieger, proved to be one of the most enjoyable plays ever presented --for the audience and for the cast. The story took place in Siam, and told of the English schoolteacher who was hired to teach the barbarian King's children. The use of small children, realistic costumes and beautiful music made the play very hard to forget. 9 The young lovers, Lun Ta and Tuptim.
