To Maurice E. Lundborg We, the Senior Class of 1965, are very proud to dedicate the Echo III to a man who has devoted so much time and leadership to us through- out our high school years at South Central. By showing authority when necessary, he has received respect and still maintained the friendship of the students. He has also shown a sincere desire to prepare us for the future. Therefore, we wish to gratefully recognize the sponsor of the Echo III, as a man whom we feel has been an inspiration to each of us. The Senior Class of 1965

Ground breaking The Groundbreaking Ceremony was definitely one of the highlights of South Central's short history. This was a major step forward in prov- viding the students of South Central with a better education through im- proved and expanded facilities. Shown above are the school board mem- bers and the superintendent at the ceremonies in May of 1964. At right is an aerial photograph of the development of the buildings in January of 1965. The school will be ready for occupancy in September of 1965. The student body and the whole community eagerly await its completion.
