He knows tne true value of a wide concept of ed- ucation in the adult world of today. SCHOOL BOARD SEATED, left to right: President, Cecil Goodwin; Vice-President, Charles Stephens; Treasurer, Wayne Kneisley. STANDING: Member, Harlan Siegesmund; Secretary, John Gardner. SUPERINTENDENT A basic goal of the school system is the growth of children and youth-- physical growth, mental growth and emotional growth. As education becomes more essential and more vital in the total cultural complex, the importance of the school increases. We have reached the point in determining the content and character of education and if we lack vision and fall short in our commitments to the school a generation of youth misses its opportunities to develop its full potential. For the tone and color given to this school and community may I take this opportunity to thank the student body, faculty, the school board, work- ing personnel, parents and community. Make us ever mindful of the tremen- dous responsibilities which lie ahead and give us the foresight and direction necessary to fulfill them in the best interest of mankind. % John R. Dunk JUNIOR - SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL Ella Mae King Secretary MERLE GOULD Principal Congratulations to the Class of 1964. May this last year serve as an inspiration for a bright future. At South Central 1 hope that you have acquired the basic education that will stand you in good stead in days ahead. To the classes of the future let's strive for an even greater achievement to meet the challenge of the space age. With these thoughts in mind the best of luck to all.
