In August 1962, the county school corporation reorganizatlon committee gave the school board of the Clinton-Hanna-Noble Consoliddtcd Sthool Dzstrict permissxon tn proceed with plans to develop an improved educational program. Thus, SOLTH CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL was established. As a result of this action, all high school students from Clinton Toxxnship, Hmna, and L'nion hilllh ncu- for the first time housed togeth- er in the high schnol bullding at Union Mxlls at the beginning of the 114133-611, schnnl year, with Noble Twp. junlor high and grade school children In the same building. Junior high and elementary pupils of the other two townships attend clauses at Clintnn Township School and at Hanna School. A short time befnre school started last fall, the high school students met and voted on the school's nickname and colors. The nickname chosen was SATELLITES and the colon red, white, Kind blue. Aczording to present plans, the dream of a new school building for this district in the very near future is soon to be realized. Students and faculty, as well as the entire school distriict. look forward eagerly to that day.
