S. Tackett. Coach Frisce. COACH’S CORNER The 1985 season found the Trojans involved in many close games. Unfortunately the Trojans were on the losing side in these hard fought games. We seemed to have key fumbles, penalties and other mistakes at the wrong time. Many of our games could have been turned around if the key mistakes were not made. The team was led by nine seniors with Dave McFarlin and John Vogel as co-captains. These fine seniors were surrounded by many inexperienced players. Our inexperience led to many of our crucial mistakes. The young players, however, gained valu- able game experience. The future looks bright for the Trojans with many lettermen returning for 1986. Jeff Oney was named 2nd team FC as a punter. Also, gaining 2nd team FC was Mike Lowery.
