Seriously, OT Division's mission is to conduct defensive studies designed to ensure that U.S. communications are secure and protected from hostile countermeasures including meaconing, interference, jamming and intrusion CMIJIJ. We also advise U.S. Commanders concerning procedures and techniques which could be used to counter enemy command and control communications. Lt Nickell OC Division OC Division is comprised of 16 Radiomen and 7 Signalmen. The primary mission of O.C. Division is to maintain a high standard of reliable communications with ships in the Battle Group and shore installations. Radiomen communicate primarily by electrical communications via satellite and the Signalmen rely mainly on flashing light and flag hoist. Our highly trained communicators keep us in touch with the world. Radio provides the equipment platform which CIC utilizes to fight the war, play the exerps, or coordinate Mars deliveries.
