I3-New friends made and old friendships re- newed af firsl' Mafinee dance. 20-Alums joined our ranks along wifh fhe freshmen and we all gof acquainfed--class officers were elecfed on fhis day. 25--F.F.A. gof organized wifh Clyde Larsen as chief farmer . 26-All sfage lovers gafhered and elecfed June Glenn as presidenf of fhe Sparfan Dramafic Club. 27-We gof off fo a good sfarf on fhe foof- ball season by defeafing Bear River 9-O. OCTOBER 4-Suffered our firsf defeaf in foofball. Game was wifh Ogden Tigers. IO-Good peppy rally wifh alumni, Presidenf Evan Baugh in charge for our Homecoming game and dance. We were sfung by 'rhe Bees fo fhe fune of I2-O. I5-Ella Fuhriman was elecfed presidenf of The Beffer Girls Club. I6-The Girls Afhlefic League chose Rufh Cooper as fheir chief execufive. NOVEMBER I--Were beafen by Weber Warriors in a hard foughf baffle. 5-A comedy was presenfed fo fhe sfudenf body by 'rhe Vern Sfouf Players. 7-Grizzlies were vicforious over our Spar- fans - Remember, Though, fhaf fhe besf feam doesn'+ always win. I5-The l-l.E.C. and E.F.A. sponsored a Barn Dance, complefe wifh everyfhing corny- buf fun. Doris Baker was crowned milk maid and Garfh Andher as hired man . Doyle Egan gof away wifh The furkey. I9--We were all fhankful lfo be ou'r of classl af a Thanksgiving assembly. 20-The Amico Fidelas Club welcomed 6l senior girls info fhe club. 22-Eoofball game wifh N. C. Bulldogs. We weren'+ on fhe long end of fhe score. 28-Sparfan Dramafic Club presenfed a com- ical drama China Boy . 29-Took play fo Norfh Cache. DECEMBER I2-Our parenfs came and polished apples for us. Generally speaking, fhey aren'f as good as we are. 20- Lif+le Miss Forfune , a comedy was pre- senfed fo us by N. C. 23-Joyous fime-Club parfies celebrafed Yulefide Season. 24-Sanfa Clause visifed S. C. wifh giffs for good liffle boys and girls . Georgia Price and Jean Bickmore won poem and sfory confesf. JANUARY 3-School was resumed again. We won our firsf baskerball game from Logan af fhe score of 28-27. IO-Weber Warriors gof fhe besf of fhe Sparfans in a baskefball game al' Weber.
