Making a Party with FH Future Homemakers of America has grown in our high school this year. This nationwide organization has a main goal of developing leadership abilities in it's members. The girls involved in this activity spend time at after school meetings to organize and plan ways to raise funds for the FHA convention held at the end of the year. This year they involved themselves in many contests and competitions in- cluding one called The Soup of the Month . They also have catered to local events and served refreshments at the Arts 81 Crafts show held here in December. Their time spent together isn't all work and no fun though. They manage to slip in some fun once in a while. At Christmas time they held their annual Christmas party together and drenched themselves on overwhelming amounts of their own homemade food. This year's members include: Madhu Ramana, Suja Sudararaj, Rekha Menon, Sunita Bonde, losephine Lai, Anu Gupta, Sabrina Tsay, Alexandra Baldassi, Manesha Panekh, Sarah Nunley, Claudia Guzman, Marta De Bari, Irene Chen, Karen Duchnowski, Karen Greene, Olga Georgides, Sue Smith, Colleen Kulchar, Wendy Vodak, Uyen Tran, Dawn Hallowell and Ad- visor - Ms. Fekete. sr 'Y o ,ikfft ivikj DAX mimi, WM 55 ing UNLIMITED FEW The Unlimited Few, advised by Mrs. Ralph, is a group consisting of mainly minority students who hope to promote black awareness in SBHS and in our community. The club met every other Thursday this year. The organization held fund raisers to gain funds for their numerous field trips. The group had many speakers come in throughout the year to talk about making it on your own. They stressed having pride within yourself which is a main goal for the group to achieve. In February once again the Unlimited Few put together their annual Black History month display in the hallway showcase. The display was organized with hope to inform the school of the importance of black individuals and their inpact on our world and enviorment. 'W i 'Indira it
