Advised by Karen Kozarski, the club did a variety of different science oriented activities. Their main goal was to expand on the knowledge and interests ofthe club's members. They went on trips, did experiments and a big interest of theirs was one of this years science highlights, Haley's Comet. Meetings every Tuesday after school included club discussions and scientific explorations lead by club President: Sidney Lee, Vice- President: Deepak Taneeja, Secretary: Sunita Bonde, and Treasurer: Mary Ann Heinzeroth. The Science Club also worked to form their own science journal which they hope benefitted the entire student body and will become an outstanding tradition in the Science Club 1 fl, .., ,i if J , 5- it 3 6 S. . k . ,,i,,, V Q T . . On With the Show This year the Theatre Club welcomed a new advisor. The club did a theatre review with scenes from various plays and also performed a spring musical. Sometimes a break was taken during their intense rehearsals to go into the city to experience the entertainment of profes- sional actors. They went to see A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and planned a trip to New York to see a Broadway show. About 30 people were officially in this year's club. Miss Handshin's goal for the year was to have a successful theatre season and to get more and more people interested in the club. li, V .fgazm Andrea Dimino is all wrapped up in her script.
