This soccer season turned out to be more promising than expected. With one lunior, eighteen Sophmores, and four Freshman. lt was a bigger turn out than expected. With this many players Coach Purcell anticipated a very successful year. The success may not have shown in our record, but it sure showed in our team itself. We worked together, therefore we felt a great feeling of togetherness at the end of each game. Of course we couldn't have done it without our Captains, Becky Reimer and Amy Lee, and our scorers, Erin McLane and Ti Nugyevn. This year has showen all of us how to work as a team and benefit from each others skills and knowledge, A IOB WELL DONE! There was a lack of interest, but in the years to come that will be overcome. They had a limited backround, but they set goals for themselves and stuck to them. Each meet they competed at they got a higher score, starting the season with 22.6 and finishing with a 44.75. There over all record was 0-6, but their is a lot of promise for the future. The team only consisted of seven girls. Wendy Nathen was an important part ofthe team along with Gail La Plante. Next year looks very promising and will hopefully be more popular.
