NMNNNN- f x r Q 1 When you receive your diploma as a graduate of South Brunswick High School, you are successfully completing one important phase of your life and will imme- diately embark upon a new one. This new phase will have at least one thing in common with the previous one -- the pursuit of success. This quest may take place in a technical school, junior college, college, or in the world of work. In this search for success let us consider a quote from Wilford A. Peterson which states success is not confined to one part of your personality, but is related to the development of all parts: body, mind, heart and spirit. It is making the most of your total self. In this statement let us note that the words money, power, and position do not appear. This is, in myjudgement, because the real things in life, do not relate first to material comforts, but rather to personal health, a clear mind, and a clean heart and spirit which are not forever being plagued by our conscience because we have sought the wrong things in life. I hope that each member of this graduating class will take time to consider those things which bring lasting joy and then use them to develop the pattern of his or her life. In this way I am confident that each of you will experience the real joy of life which you are seeking and which I hope each of you will achieve.
