The Senior Chorus, a group of 89 students directed by Mr. Albert Dorhout undertook a difficult task this year in performing Mozart's Mass in B which it presented to the high school at an assembly program and for the Christmas Concert. Schubert's Mass in Cf was performed for the Spring Concert. The Chorus presented afall con- cert for the first time composed of lighter music with a Pops concert in the Spring. The 22 chorale members performed with the chorus and Barbershop quartet, a new addition this year, in each concert to fill the Senior High vocal music Department. l Eighth Grade Chorus 137

Newspaper The Viking Press, the monthly publication of S.B.H.S. has taken on a new light. As always the Viking Press stands out as one ofthe best representations ofthe student body. Besides reporting the news of the school the Viking Press has taken upon itself to form a Community GoodWill Week. Their drive to sponsor the David Ronthaler Memorial Shelf Of American Studies was one of the staffs admirable accomplishments.
