Forum Latinum The Foruni Latinuln, gr Latin club in our school, has for its purpose promoting interest in and acquiring Q1 fuller appreciation ef the lan- guage. For us Catholics the study of Latin has an additional incentive since it is the official language of the Catholic Church. During our meetings, projects on Roman life. customs, etc., help us realize more fully hon' much we are illclebted to the llolnalis for our present- day world, Imaginary sight-seeing tours through picture study, acquaint us with the glories of his- toric Rome, not only the Home ot' the Caesars but also the nioflern uEtQ1'll2ll City -the Center of Christianity. The latest news, stories, jokes, and other interesting' articles, we read from the MAllXllllllll Latinun1 , a Latin magazine. Games and songs aclcl to the enjoyment ol' the meetings conducted hy the praeses, Mary L. Lasl-Qowslii, as- sisted by the suh-1n'aeses, Iflugene Laflewski. Cut of the Crystal Ball The sun will shine on us, you'll see, 'Pon leaving dear old S. B. C. Each will have his goal to reach On lifc's tempestuous sea and beach. For the hero, audiences shiver and pray. Foremost attendant is Dorothy McCay. The crystal ball discloses now A renowned dress shop right in town. Who is the proprietor? Let me see- Well, look at that!!!! Rita designs, Margie It's Rita C. Borlik sews And Lucille Lichner sell the clothes. Let's watch who buys them-let us Upon my word! It's Frank Rose--he, and Lorraine B. Patricia A. Arc hard theatrical workers today Patsy the booker and Frank the man, Success they greet on every hand. Richard and Robert were born comedians For they're still at itg the stage is their medium Politicians two of us have become Successful and honest as the day is long. Guess who 7-Ernest P. and Chester B. Their faces on billboards all over we see. Ah! but what is this that We have here? A jovial physician, if my sight is clear, Johnny Cicslewicz, a graduate of medical college In practice applies his well learned knowledge. Wait! John's office has not yet faded, Who's that pretty nurse so finely rated? It's Beatrice Nowak, a registered nurse, Here all her practice she does rehearse. Of stenographers we have about two. Dolores Klosowski and Lorraine W. Both at Studebaker Corporation. Oh, I Wonder who is in Aviation? The answer to this, as you soon will see, Are Eugene L., and Johnny B.
