You will see us as we were during four years cf growing up both in school and out of school. How did we survive initiation, the endless tests, the lectures and book reports? How will we ever forget the proms, the ballgames, our teachers and our classmates? All these things will color our world for all the days of our future. IN 1972 WE WERE SOPHOMORES — COLOR US INSECURE. IN 1973 WE WERE JUNIORS — COLOR US FREE THINKING AND GROWING UP. IN 1974 WE ARE SENIORS — COLOR US CONFIDENT. BUT HOW DO WE COLOR OUR WORLD OF THE FUTURE? DO WE STILL COLOR IT SCARED, INSECURE, AND NERVOUS? OR DO WE COLOR IT FREE THINKING AND CONFIDENT? EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US MUST MAKE OUR OWN WAY AND COLOR OUR OWN WORLD. 5 ALMA MATER Our hearts leap up as we behold Thy name across the sky Set in stars as time unfolds Thy name shall never die. Mrs. Inman has taken a great interest in the students of Hoffman High School but especially the students of our class. She has concerned herself with our problems and her advice has helped many of us during our four years of high school. It is with grateful thanks and appreciation that we, the Class of 1974, dedicate our yearbook, IMotre Livre, to Mrs. Frances Inman. 'There's a lot of dough in these pretzel sales, Mrs. Inman.' After a record of 14 and 7, the Hoffman Varsity Base- ball Team went on to win the 1973 Central Jersey Group I Championship. They won the title by defeating Keyport by a score of 1 to 0. The team was undefeated in Central Jersey Valley Conference play. Kneeling: J. Kotula, M. Kelly, J. McCarthy, R. Neumann, G. Bongiorno, G. Hubbs. Standing: J. Wurth, T. R.BLOODGOOD The 1974 Hoffman Baseball team is expected to do as good as, if not better than, last year's squad. The bulk of the team is back with the exception of Thomas Szatkowski, who will be very hard to replace. With the help of the new pitching machine, this year's of- fense should be more potent. The stronger points of the team is the defense, especially in the pitching department. According to Mr. Bloodgood, the enthusiam during the tedi- ous workouts, shows the team is ready and willing to play. Even though foul weather has hindered outdoor practices, the team will be prepared to go out and pursue another title for H.H.S.! The Co-captains of the team are J. Szatkowski and B. Still- wagon. In all, the team can be summed up in one word, Dynamite , as Mr. Bloodgood explains it. R. Poulson B. Stillwagon K. Booker J. Szatkowski T. Diem G. Hubbs J. McCarthy M. Kelly J. Kotula R. Neuman G.
