Early in the season, the Rebel gymnasts set a goal to win the District meet. This goal was not reached, but it was a successful sea- son. According to Coach Randy Lary, We were not expected to be of any consequence in the Valley League and we were, because of improvements made by the team. Most Improved Gymnast honors went to Bob Lucero and Robin Rodgers. The team's Most Outstanding Gymnast award went to David Graham, who placed tenth in vaulting at the state meet. The high point of this sea- son was the West Albany meet where every- one turned in good performances and the Rebels won. Throughout the year the gymnasts learned valuable lessons about discipline and sacri- ficing, according to Coach Lary. We were definitely the most improved team in the District. -Randy Lary THIS PAGE CLOCKWISE: (TOP to BOTTOM): Bob Lucero performs an L on the parallel bars.
