Crescent Valley beat the Rebels at Memorial Stadium . . . hard-hitting defense ... interesting strategy! .. . Rebs lost a tough one to White Salmon .. . 25-24 ... two weeks at bye until Red and Grey Days against Newberg . . . they got the brighter side of things ... the Rebels against Crescent Valley again, this time at Corvallis ... Rebels dominated the entire game . . . Rob Griffin to Steve Alley TD pass . .. numerous first downs ... but we lost, 7-6 ... team ended the season with the “Civil War“ game against West Albany ... a rainy, hard-fought game . .. the Bulldogs dominated the Rebels . .. team voted Larry Chambers the Outstanding Player . .. received Tom Drynan Award . . . Offensive Player, Ken Vanderford . .. Defensive Player, Dan Farey Most Improved, Mike Wells ... ended with 0-8 season. ... 35 players were awarded letters at the award banquet . . . thirteen
