Locked Up, Walled in Also new this year were 41 1 feet of walls, added to close the open concept. It took three men three weeks to install them, but their time and effort was great- ly appreciated. Finally a study hall was quiet enough for studying. English class was not a mix- ture of Spanish verbs and mathematics problems. Students really received a break because routine class lectures were broken up with video tapes, movies and film- strips. For those homesick students, some moveable dividers were kept. The walls turned out to be a real good investment except for thoses with claustrophobia. Classes were not disrupted by between class stragglers. While writing on the blackboards, students could finish with- out the board walking away, being need- ed somewhere else. ENGLISH class was much quieter with the walls added. Brad Zimmerman, Pam Alberson, and Cindy Schwartz studied hard for a test. TAKING a break between classes is Ann Minnich, resting peacefully after being swal- lowed by Kim Jones ' locker.

GRADUATION ' 77 : ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ ♦♦♦♦♦♦ f.l l l l .l .l l l l l l J ADDRESSING the graduates was Reverend Mark Batterbee. AWAITING the invocation from senior Allen Caffee were the graduates. PRESENTING honor cords and sashes to the honor students were Mr. Lehman and Mr. Inks. K: DEREK Sprunger received his diploma from his father, Dr. I-red Sprunger. Graduation 77 was held on May 22 in the South Adams gymnasium. The entire class of one hundred sixteen seniors received their diplomas from School Board President Gail Runyon. The baccalaureate remarks were delivered by Rev. Mark Batterbee who spoke on the theme Sound Words. Kent Frank was the class speaker. He gave a humorous talk about the past in conjuction with the class motto. Principal Doyle Lehman then recognized the honor students.
