Ni:WLY crowned King Phil Litwiller settles down in the library to finish his thematic paper after the excitement of Homecoming. QUEEN Ann Minnich, with lollipop in hand, entertained the basketball crowd with her imita- tion of Telly Savalas. Newly crowned King Phil Litwiller and Queen Ann Minnich presided over the 19- 76 Homecoming festivities. After their coronation, the band followed with a splendid halftime show featuring the se- nior auxiliary corps. McAllister offered much relief to the large turn-out at the dance, seeking to escape the sub-freezing weather. All the calories from the finger lickin ' good chicken which was bought at the FFA ' s chicken barbecue were burned up while the tensions of the nerve racking game supplied the energy. Garrett barely slipped by the gallant Starfires with a last second victory by the score of 40-36. DUE TO THE DESTRUCTION OF 72 PICTURES, INCLUDING MOST OF THE HOMECOMING SHOTS, WE WERE UN- ABLE TO PROVIDE AN ADEQUATE COVERAGE OF HOMECOMING FEST- IVITES. THE STAFF HOMECOMING SHOWN are the 1976 Homecoming King and Oiieen candidates; (front) Ann Minnich, Mary Liechty, Sue Schwartz, Kim Wulliman, Maria Affolder, Sonnie Stciner, (Back) Lon lox. Ken Sipe, Allen Caffee, Phil Litwiller, Derek Sprunger, and Randy Lehman. ENJOYING the Homecoming Dance were seniors Wilbur Snyder, Chico Martinez, Kim Jones, Mary Liechty, Andrey Liechty, and many more. THE tough Starfire defense stopped a potent Garrett Railroader offense during the Home- coming Game.
