Someone once said that in our early years Ko should build the foundations for happiness, so that in our later years we can begin to en- joy what we have built. The older we grow tlic more important memories of the past be- come. It is the character of these memories which gives us a feeling of achievement from a life lived well, or a sense of remorse for wasted years. Every day we are deciding our happiness by how we live. Wisdom suggests that wc live right every day, so that any shad- ows of the past will fade and every promise for tomorrow will become even brighter than before. - Unknown Happy memories, like a lighted candle, light the dark places of later life. - Ruth Smeltzer

I long for the friendsliip the joys and fears a smile one to help you through your work why so quickly did it pass? I remember how 1 wished each day would hurriedly go by now I wish 1 were there again 1 dream, and silently cry. so many smiles to see the warmth to glow within your heart a comfort to know and to be. I ' ve passed each hall so slowly yet fast I ' ve remembered all to the slightest detail - I ' m grateful for having my memories I close the door . . . smile . . . and continue another day. - Kim Haines
