It's been quite a while since lwas in High School and as I sit here by the fireplace and watch the smoke curl up the chimney, my memory is carried back to my good old high school days and I begin to wonder where all my classmates are, and in the flames Iseem to visualize them and the things they have done, Betty Hope Brown had already taken the plunge before school was over and now she and Don are the proud owners of a super service station for helicopters in the metropolis of Midway plus the patter of several dozen feet in their prefabricated cottage, Gertrude Farley Zebrook was one of those married gals too, She and her husband Bill now have a private school all their own -- they really do have a large family -- if you know what I mean, Dean Brammer and Billy Calhoun have gone into a partnership, Dean goes inside and transacts the business while Billy stays outside and keeps the motor running, Jack Gearhart always was a ladies' man and now he has gone over to Arabia and has a harem of nobody knows how many wives, He seems very happy, Einstein is working on a theory to count them -- he seems very happy, too, Merle and Okalene Taylor graduated in three years and now they're taking a ten year post graduate course, I don't know how they keep up with their homework now that they go out every night with a different fellow. Kenna Bays and Merle Denny always had keen desires to become nurses, Kenna is now a doctor at the Don Bopkins hospital but Merle had a little trouble and is now going through her 2 year course for the fifth time, Oh well, I hope she doesn't get discouraged, Judy Lusk didn't become a secretary like she planned, Frank soon talked her out of that, The last I heard they were taking a Caribbean cruise that Frank won on a quiz program entitled If you don't know, ask your wife, Jean Coskey always was a big pal with the boys, She now runs an escort bureau of which she is the principal customer, Pat McDowell finally decided to give up trying to learn anything and concentrate on something she likes better, She is running a school for majorettes, The board of education kindly donated a huge building to her. We can see she didn't have to argue much -- Wow! XXX' ffy K , f A Q , fd X '? 5-' X 5 4 Xu. X xx M XEX 2 51
