Sana nf igvrirlea, Bixiv Glhapivr n. 153 GREENVILLE, S. C. OFFICERS Left to right: JOHNNY PETROPOULOS, Vice-President: NICK THEQDORE, President: JOHN KIRIAKIDES, Secretaryg NICK PAULOS, Treasurer. Klflfaflcoms On behalf of the Dixie Chapter Order of Sons of Pericles, I would like to Welcome all participa- ting in our Annual Periclean Basketball Tourna- ment. We would also like to say a few Words of welcome and praise to all others attending this affair. Without the support and cooperation of non-participants no district event could be a com- plete success. Annual tournaments and conventions were inactive as many Sons of Pericles Chapters were during the war. It is our desire that Greenville can begin again in the successful stride as the other chapters demonstrated before the war. Chapter business and socials within them- selves are very enjoyable, however without our district gatherings some element would be With- held from our Sons of Pericles events. Each chap- ter can, must cooperate and work wholeheartedly with the host chapter of any district affair. For as the old saying goes A Chain is as strong as its Weakest link so it can be said A district is as strong as its Weakest chapter . Again I would like to extend a cordial wel- come to each and everyone of you. I hope your stay in the Textile City will be a pleasant one and your tournament days enjoy- able ones.-NICK THEODORE, Pres.
