It is always difficult to write a message for a yearbook. This year I find it par- ticularly hard, as I am the newcomer who has sought your help in learning of the traditions and accomplishments of your school and community. What I have learned, I have liked. You have a school and a community of which you may be iustly proud. Your school commands respect throughout the State of California. It is principally through your efforts that this respect has been attained. By continued effort your splendid reputation can be increased and expanded. I look forward with eager- ness to working with you for an ever-improving school. It is with regret that I watch the seniors leave the school for I have not yet had a chance to know them well. However, to each of them goes the schooI's sincere wishes for success and happiness. Through this book they may look back to school days, to old friends, dances, games and classes. We hope the life pictured here is one of pleasure and profit.
