For The mosT parT They were adiusTing Themselves To Their new environmenT buT This was eTFecTively accomplished by The Sophomores aT The Freshman RecepTion wiTh a very cordial welcome. Towards The end of The year, wiTh Mr. Pearce as sponsor. This was graTeTully repaid by a Sophomore ReTurn parTy. As Sophomores The absorbing inTeresT of The class was raising money. Under The very compeTenT sponsorship oT Miss Dean The Treasury visibly expanded. The sale oT ChrisTmas wreaThs broughT in The mosT proTiT. During This year The social evenT was The RecepTion Tor The incoming Freshmen. This was amply repaid wiTh a ReTurn parTy. The principal proiecT as Juniors was The Senior Prom. Under The supervision of Mr. Borelli. class sponsor, The play. Bashful Bobby, was given. which also helped To defray Prom cosTs. The Theme of This gala affair was' Deep Purple : The gymnasium was appropriaTely decoraTed wiTh soTT lighTs and silver noTes on purple sTaTTs. In The Senior year, The lasT sTruggle Tor Tunds ended-wiTh a moTion picTure, GilberT and Sullivan's Mikado, sponsored aT The STar TheaTer on May 23. A Senior play, One Horrible NighT, also helped raise money Tor The Tradi- Tional Senior giTT To The school. On May 3rd The Seniors were inviTed To ModesTo Junior College Tor open house day and Their diTch day was spenT aT San Francisco. In June The 84 who are leTT will be graduaTed. leaving behind Tour very Tull and happy years of school life. The oTficers of The Tour classes were as Tollows: As Freshmen: D.
